About

Dr. Heatly received her DVM from Texas A&M (TAMU) University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. She is a diplomate of the American College of Zoological Medicine and the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. Dr. Heatley is currently an associate professor of zoological medicine at TAMU. Her research interests include the application of emergency and critical care techniques to zoological species, ecosystem health monitoring through native species, and epidemiology of infectious disease in wildlife.
