Crocker Art Museum

The Crocker Art Museum features the world’s foremost display of California art and is renowned for its holdings of European master drawings and international ceramics. The Crocker also holds permanent collections of Asian, African, and Oceanic art, ceramics, and photography.

SMUD Museum of Science and Curiosity 

MOSAC piques curiosity and sparks imagination in guests of all ages with hands-on interactive exhibits and programming that explore the wonders of science, technology, engineering, arts and math. The exhibitions address global and local issues on topics relating to energy, health, water, nature, space and design engineering.

American Whitewater Expeditions

Whether you’re looking for a day of bouncy fun in the sun on a South Fork American River rafting trip, you want to spice things up on a Middle Fork of the American River, or you’d like to take on the wild and untamed North Fork of the American River,  American Whitewater Expeditions offers something for everyone.

River Bend Park

River Bend Park is one of Sacramento’s oldest county parks. A long central road paralleling the river links you to this park’s many recreation facilities. Wild turkeys and deer rustle in the grass beneath young oaks, while the bright green, carefully cared-for picnic area is a delicious place to stop for lunch.

Cosumnes River Preserve

The Cosumnes River Preserve is a nature preserve of over 51,000 acres located 20 miles south of Sacramento. The preserve protects a Central Valley remnant that once contained one of the largest expanses of oak tree savanna, riparian oak forest and wetland habitat in North America.

Folsom Lake

Located at the base of the Sierra foothills, the lake and recreation area offers opportunities for hiking, biking, running, camping, picnicking, horseback riding, water-skiing and boating. Fishing offers trout, catfish, largemouth and smallmouth bass, or perch.

McConnell Estates Winery

McConnell Estates Winery is an award-winning, family-owned and operated winery in Elk Grove, California. For six generations, the Wackman family has farmed the land just north of the Cosumnes River, with the fifth and sixth generations now producing our 20+ estate-grown wines (Cosumnes River AVA, Lodi appellation). Enjoy wine tasting in the comfort of this historic, hundred-year-old homestead Tasting Room.

The Kitchen

The Kitchen is a Michelin-starred restaurant serving a six-course prix fixe dinner menu based upon the best and freshest ingredients available, most of which are procured locally and regionally. The executive chef and staff present the meal in a lively, theatrical demonstration format. Upon arrival, guests are welcome to relax, order libations, and snack on hors d’oeuvres. As dinner begins, guests may speak with staff about the wine cellar, selections of spirits, as well as the vibrant and seasonal handcrafted alcohol-free beverages

Séka Hills

This kitchen offers a changing selection of made-to-order hot and cold small plates that reflect each season’s best for visitors to enjoy. The in-house chef and culinary team have developed wine-friendly menus that highlight Séka Hills extra virgin olive oils, Yocha Dehe ranch-raised beef and farm fresh produce.

Kru

A contemporary Japanese cuisine restaurant and bar in Sacramento, CA. It’s a perfect celebration spot with some of the best sushi in town. Kru’s chef Billy Ngo was a finalist for the 2024 James Beard Award for Best Chef: California.
