2008 PacVet a Smashing Success!

With approximately 1,100 registrants, 350 exhibitors, and over 100 CE sessions over four days, the 2008 Pacific Veterinary Conference in San Francisco was a smashing success! Veterinary professionals came from all across the United States and Canada for some real world interaction and to learn from over 40 interesting speakers. The CE sessions were popular and the Vet Expo was a magnet during breaks and meal times. Veterinary professionals left the conference educated, energized, and ready to go back to their practices and put their new knowledge to use.

Once the Vet Expo opened on Friday, attendees streamed in. Our exhibitors in the Vet Expo were terrific . . . from insurance services to medical supplies to surgical instruments and more. Registrants enjoyed ample supplies of excellent refreshments during lunches and breaks in the Vet Expo as they visited exhibitor booths.

At the end of the day’s proceedings, conference-goers attended the Gala Awards Ceremony and Sunset Celebration on Friday and the Party in the City on Saturday, with delicious food, desserts, and music! The chocolate waterfall at the Party in the City looked like something straight out of Willy Wonka’s factory and nicely complemented the San Francisco-themed desserts offered to attendees.
