Harriet Flynn, MVB, DACVAA
Dr. Harriet Flynn earned her veterinary degree from University College Dublin in 2017. From there, Dr. Flynn went into a 12-month equine surgical internship at Harvard University Equine Medical Institute, and then decided to pursue a career in anesthesia. She completed a three-year veterinary anesthesia and critical patient care residency at the University Of California, Davis and obtained board certification in 2021. She currently serves as an assistant professor of surgical and radiological sciences at UC Davis.

Christopher Onstott
Christopher Onstott, a shareholder at Kronick, focuses on employment litigation and commercial litigation. He has defended employers in employment litigation, including against race, sex, and disability discrimination and harassment claims, as well as wage-and-hour violations. He has also litigated numerous commercial cases, including cases involving misappropriation of trade secrets, product liability, insurance bad faith, and breach of contract claims.
Helen Philp, BVMS, DACVECC, DACVNU
Dr. Helen Philp graduated from the University of Glasgow, Scotland and spent several years in practice before completing an internship in small animal emergency and critical care at the University of Edinburgh. She then moved to UC Davis in California in 2018 to complete a residency in emergency and critical care followed by a fellowship in nephrology and extracorporeal medicine.
Brian Speer, DVM, DABVP (Avian Practice), DECZM (Avian)
Dr. Brian Speer is the owner and director of The Medical Center for Birds in Oakley, California. Dr. Speer is past-president of the Association of Avian Veterinarians and a consultant for the Veterinary Information Network (VIN). He is certified through American Board of Veterinary Practitioners and through the European College of Zoological Medicine in their respective avian specialties.
Ryan Gibson, DVM, M.Ed, DACVIM (Neurology)
Dr. Ryan Gibson is a veterinary educator and neurologist from Auburn University. His teaching focuses on foundational neuroscience, applications in clinical neurology, and microanatomy. His virtual consulting services (The Brain Dogtor LLC and CortexVet LLC) are aimed at improving access to care for neurological patients and supporting general practitioners.
