CVPMs must accumulate 48 continuing education hours and submit documentation along with the current recertification fee every two years to the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association (VHMA). 22 hours of continuing education credits for recertification are offered at the 2023 Pacific Veterinary Conference.

11:30 AM-12:20 PM	HR: Don’t Call It Workplace Drama When It Is Actually Uncivil Behavior Workplace “drama” is too cutesy of a label. It makes the workplace sound as if it is part of a reality TV show—but no one is acting, the channel can’t be changed, and it can’t be turned off. Workplace drama deserves a stronger term and response by management. Uncivil behavior is cancer that spreads throughout the team if left unchecked. Any business, no matter the size, must have a plan to nip incivility in the bud.
