Anne Kjemtrup, DVM, MPVM, PhD

Dr. Anne Kjemtrup is a research scientist, epidemiologist, and veterinarian for the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), Vector-Borne Disease Section (VBDS). She received her DVM, MPVM, and PhD degrees from UC Davis. Dr. Kjemtrup is subject matter expert for vector-related reportable diseases, including Lyme disease, anaplasmosis, babesiosis, tick-borne relapsing fever, rickettsial diseases, hantavirus, and plague. At the CDPH, she helps coordinate environmental follow-up of diseases with VBDS biologists and local health agencies.
