Dr. Alina Vale obtained her veterinary degree at UC Davis, then completed an internship at Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. She worked with racehorses as an associate of the Dubai Equine Hospital and in a group track practice in California. Dr. Vale obtained a master’s degree in veterinary forensic science and transitioned into regulatory roles, including an official veterinarian for the California Horse Racing Board and consultant for the Horseracing Integrity & Safety Authority.
