Dr. John Peroni is a board-certified large animal surgeon and the current Dr. Steeve Giguère Memorial Professor of Surgery Chair in the Department of Large Animal Medicine at the University of Georgia. Dr. Peroni focuses on lameness and orthopedic surgical case management and continues to pursue his research in the field of biological therapies to include the use of cell-based (stem cells) and blood-derived (platelet rich plasma and platelet lysate) products to repair of musculoskeletal disorders.
