Dr. Jeanette O’Quin is an associate professor with the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She is co-author of both editions of the ASV Guidelines for Standards of Care in Animal Shelters, and co-editor for the 2nd edition. Dr. O’Quin helped to create the ABVP board specialty in shelter medicine and is a founding editor of the Journal of Shelter Medicine and Community Animal Health. She has been recognized with the American Veterinary Medical Association Animal Welfare Award and the Association of Shelter Veterinarians Meritorious Service Award.
